• Prepares periodic financial statements for users
• Ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable SEC regulations
• Prepares consolidation journal entries, eliminates intercompany transactions, and consolidated divisional and subsidiary financial accounts on a timely and accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements
• Conducts extensive research regarding the impact to financial statements of potential changes to accounting rules proposed by accounting standards setters
• Provides accounting guidance related to proposed transactions to ensure conformity with SEC regulations, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• CPA required
• 12-15 years of related experience.
• Including 6 to 8 years public accounting firm experience
• Solid external SEC reporting knowledge and demonstrated experience
• Excellent understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations SX and SK, and financial /management reporting.
