description The Role of an Electronic filer. The Indexers will review electronic scanned documents for a claim or policy number. Then searching the Doc Indexer System to match and file into the appropriate claim unit. Once it is filed into a claim unit, these documents must be labeled by a Document Type. The Indexer determines the Document Type and the state it is from and the name of the sender. Once the document has been identified, the Indexer will save the information into the system.
