We are currently hiring for a Bookkeeper position in the Detroit area.
Job responsibilities include: recording business transactions, retaining all accounting records, independently preparing a trial balance and working with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. This position may require preparing month-end journal entries and performing various reconciliations, including statements, invoices, vouchers, bank and general ledger accounts, as well as submitting reports of business financial operations.
Requirements: A minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience is required. Candidates must be proficient with computerized accounting software and be able to produce financial statements for review by a CPA. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply immediately for consideration.
