Times are tough these days. Especially for business owners like Harold Hebson, who owns three Pit Pros automotive lubrication shops. His shops offer a variety of products: from state inspections to fuel injection cleaning, as well as your standard oil changes. They also do transmission, radiator, and brake flushing. With all these services, Harold was now faced with the daunting task of how to advertise and market his Pit Pros shops. He used to have a couple ads in the Yellowpages but they proved to be very costly and with internet search engines like Google and Bing, these costly ads were becoming more and more ineffective.
Harold decided to take a different course of action. He called Leading Edge Displays out of Houston, Texas, an LED manufacturer that specialized in on-site marketing through their LED electronic message boards. He figured that instead of having a changeable reader board that he would have to change every so often in the hot 100 degree Houston heat himself, he could possibly utilize an LED display. These displays could not only stream an unlimited amount of content, messages, and animation, but do so in a bright, illuminated fashion, 24 hours a day, even when his shops were closed.
Since he had three different Pit Pros shops, Harold decided to purchase one LED display to see how it performed. He placed the LED sign at his shop at 13210 Veterans Memorial Drive in Houston, Texas. The results were immediate. More and more customers were coming to his shop that had the streaming LED display. Some of the customers didn't even know the shop existed before the sign was put up, let alone that they could also get their state inspections sticker renewed while getting a routine oil change. He instantly bought 2 more LED displays for his other two shops in hopes of replicating the success that the original LED display had brought. Now his other locations, one on 21135 Aldine Westfield Rd in Humble, Texas, and the other at 10174 North Houston Rosslyn, have been doing great since he added the LED displays. Harold now plans to open a few more shops with the increased revenue that his shops have been producing. When asked if his new shops would also have the LED electronic message boards, Harold beamed with a smile, "You better believe it."
