On Saturday, August 29, 2009 at around 6:00 PM we’re debate the pronunciation of the word tomAAAto Old World style. We’ll dump a ton of ripe red fruit on the plaza (10 North Virginia Plaza) and kick off a free-for-all food fight.
The party begins at 1:00 PM with street vendors, food, drink and live entertainment on Virginia street right in front of the Club Cal Neva between First Street and Second Street. Admission in to the tomato fight is a minimum $10.00 donation with all profit from the event going to the American Cancer Society.
