I am a mural artist based from Milwaukee. I have been teaching mural painting and art in schools,COA's,community centers and outreach programs for 5 years. I have worked for Arts@Large, Boys&Girls Club and Danceworks. I have worked with over 2,000 different students of all ages at over 30 differnt sites.
Currently I am working on some exciting projects around Milwaukee. I have just been accepted into the USAProjects.com program in which I am raising funding to teach and produce murals through out Milwaukee. Mainly with students who are low income or their arts programming has been cut.
I am hoping to do at least 2-4 large scale murals. I have 29 days to raise $5,000 and then will receive matched funding from the Ford Foundation and other big donors.
It is a tax deductable donation and for a good cause. If I do not raise my goal funding in this amount of time, donations will be returned to the donors.
I am asking friends/family and art supporters for a donation even as low as $25. Anything would help. If you, or you know of anyone that would be interested in supporting me and the arts, this is the webpage, it is a secure site.
