Join Crossroads as they present an orishá song and dance workshop under the Orishá Folklórico Folkloric Arts program. This workshop is an intensive training session that emphasizes folkloric interpretations of song, rhythm and dance of orishá song and dance. Participants will receive a lecture that focuses on the aesthetics and mythology of orishá praise poems, linking them to songs, rhythms and dances. Participants introduced to songs and dances of various deities through Arará and Yesá rhythms. * $50 with pre-registration - $60 at the door with late registration * 3hr.
