Sarah is a 30 year old single mom. She is also a nurse. Dedicating her life to caring for others has become second nature to her. Three years ago, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Over the last three years, she has endured five surgeries, countless rounds of chemotherapy, potent medication, a brief remission, followed by life-threatening complications (one that landed her in the ICU for a week in a medically induced coma following unexplained seizures) and most recently, a second cancer diagnosis. Putting her life in the hands of her amazing medical team, Sarah finally received the news she's been waiting three years to hear. On April 12, 2013, she was told she was free from cancer. She doesn't get to say "cured" until she reaches the five year mark. We are almost six months in...fingers crossed.
A fundraiser has been set up to help riase money for her to pay off the nearly $25,000 in medical bills she has as a result of her treatment. The link below will take you to the site. You can donate by name or anonymously. Anything helps, even $1. Please take a moment to read her story, donate and promote the site. You can share the page to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google Plus.
Please help this mom out!
