Outstanding host families needed! We would like your family to join us in sharing American culture with International Students while they study English as a Second Language at our Kaplan Aspect Centers located in the U-District and at Highline Community College! Kaplan Aspect provides English language instruction to thousands of students in schools in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Our students come from all over the world, and vary in age and proficiency levels. They study English for anywhere from 2 to 52 weeks before transferring to college or returning to their home country. We are looking for families that represent the diversity of the Northwest, including young, senior and single-parent families, with or without children, who share a willingness to open their hearts and homes to international students. Our basic requirements include: Furnished single room with a bed and desk Provide 2 meals per day (breakfast and dinner) Live within 1 hour by public transportation We will provide: Support in communicating with students Training in best practices for hosting Paid monthly compensation.
