Be a Mentor!
Many kids need someone to listen, trust, and believe in them. Could YOU be the one to help? If you are looking for a way to give back to your community and make a difference, then consider becoming a mentor. Mentoring is a rewarding way in which YOU can make a positive impact in the life of a child by sharing your time and having fun.
Friends for Youth is a 29-year-old agency serving at-risk youth residing in San Mateo and Northern Santa Clara counties. By providing training and on-going support, in addition to group activities each month, it is our goal to find people who not only wish to be mentors, but also friends to the kids in our program.
Learn more about this exciting opportunity to become a mentor by visiting us on the web at www.friendsforyouth.org.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please call our mentor hotline at 650-482-2867 or email us at mentor@friendsforyouth.org.
