fighting DSS

looking for someone to help out with a situation i'm having. I am a grandmother(maternal)of two children who are under DSS custody now and for the last four months going on five.The oldest one is suffering from anxiety and stress she is thirteen years old and is getting moved from house to house and place to place and is not even with her youger six year old brother. DSS is telling me because of an old shoplifting charge that i am forbidden to get custody of them. I'm drug free and i'ts a great environment where I live . I've raised three lovely children that were never involved with DSS in there lives. Everyday they had a three course meals,we went to church every week,traveled, basically gave them all I could.Two of them came out right, one as you can see not somuch,but that is why I am trying to get custody of them.DSS is telling me there waiting for paperwork from Boston to get back to them and I called up to Boston directly and was told there were no papers on me sent to them and that they didnt know what I was even talking about. They never received anything from DSS fall river.The lady I was speaking to on the phone today was so nice to me she hung the phone up on me.In need of some help from someone anyone please.
