Don’t buy a car with out having it checked by a professional mechanic. It is not worth it.
When you decide to buy a used vehicle you need to give us a call so we can come and check it to make sure it is in good condition. Don’t buy before we check. You will save by having a report of the car’s condition and being able to negotiate the price of the same. We check the car from bumper to bumper, if it has been under water, in an accident or has mechanical problems, we can tell you for your peace of mind. Believe me you need our services. Most people will tell you their car is perfect, we will make sure for you.
We check as much as possible with out removing any parts or doing any intrusive test that could damage something and the seller may not want us to do. A complete diagnostic is not possible to be done using just a scanner.
Another service we are offering is: “Car search”
If you want us to find a car for you, we can do that. Just give us the specifications and we will look for it. This is perfect for out of state buyers, or people that don’t have time to do the search. This will avoid multiple inspections because the car I will choose for you will be one in good condition.
This service must be prepaid.
An inspection can help:
• Individuals buying used cars. (Before or after the purchase).
• People that are returning a leased car.
• Banks that need to appraise a vehicle before they reposes it.
• After repairs have been done to get a second opinion. Specially body work.
• Before a long trip or just for your peace of mind.
• If you have a fleet of cars or trucks you can have us inspect them to see what is needed and avoid trucks breaking at the wrong moment.
Some very important facts you should know about used cars.
• There is about $35 billion on repairs spent each year on cars (body work) and about 40% of them are repaired to less than perfect condition.
• About 50% of lease returned and resold vehicles are supposed to have tampered odometers.
• About one of five vehicles in the road have been rebuilt from the salvage yard.
• 90% of cars in the road have been neglected.
Maintenance has not been done on those cars properly.
• Every year rebuilders put about 400,000 cars back on the road with out proper inspection from the state or a qualified inspector.

Yes an inspection at a dealer or an independent shop may be cheaper but you have to waste time driving the car there, the car owner may object to that plus you will have to wait more time so they can accommodate you when you get there. I don’t do this part time, on the side or to moon light…this is my full time job. This is what I do for a living.

Some inspectors say that they check the fuel injection. What for? If the check engine light isn't on when you drive the car, then most likely you don't need anything there.(The light has to be on only when you turn the ignition switch on, then go off when the car starts). What we are doing is an inspection not a diagnostic, there's a difference. Diagnostics take a lot more than a scanner (computer) to be done properly, and usually parts have to be removed. Plus the seller doesn’t like us techs poking the car around. But if you insist and the seller doesn’t mind, I will scan for codes (pending codes) for your peace of mind. I have 4 different scanners I can use. But as I said the scanner alone won’t be enough if you really need a diagnostic.
