Sun conure needs rehomed 2 yrs old lots of red

“Flames” is a beautiful 2-year old sun conure who has a lot of red on its face and neck. Flames does talk a little bit (says ‘hello’ and mumbles some other things) and is fairly friendly. Enjoys being petted through the cage and used to ride around on his owners shoulder. The owner has Asperger’s Syndrome and is unable to care for Flames. This beautiful bird has much to offer a new or experienced bird owner with its vivacious personality and cute antics.
Sun conures have a rainbow of brilliant yellow, red, orange, green, and blue colors on them. Their personalities can be as rich as their colors too – they are easy to train tricks to and become quite fond on their owner. Flames can live an average of 25 years in captivity. Proper exercise is imperative to good health. Sun conures are by nature very active, and need to be provided adequate space to fly, explore, and play. Keeping this in mind, your sun conure should be allowed adequate time out of his cage, and the cage should be at least big enough for the bird to flap his wings.
Flames will need a larger cage than the one we’re providing, and a play gym or other exercise area would be excellent. We do ask that you get a larger cage and not keep Flames in the one it’s in now.
