My 12yr old Eclectus is laying eggs n nesting. Wants to b a mom. She lives inside our house with an open cage. Joins us for dinner n evening tv every night then puts herslf to bed when she's tired. Eats fruits nuts veggies something we eat almost everynight plus her own free fed variety. Lives in a very clean cared for envionment and I can tell u its a lot of happily know work to keep her area clean she's a messy but clean bird. She loves to take baths in summer. And she knows she's one of us..even though she prefers me a lady. Well mannered but always cautious of my 2 boys. But they get along n have come to respect her. No fast movements around her without letting her kmow ur coming and c f she's in the mood..women r tempermenal but we love her n have gotten to know each other quite well over the years.
