Professional Basketball Team Needs Dancers For Dance Team

In their 2nd season, The Chicago Steam an American Basketball Association team is looking for attractive, physically fit, talented, dedicated, “Star-Quality” female dancers who will perform at every Chicago Steam home games. Since the Chicago Steam is a new professional basketball team, the responsibilities of “The Starlett “dancer will be to represent the Chicago Steam in a professional manner at promotional engagements, charity events and special events throughout the city of Chicago. "The Starlett's” must be enthused about performing at every home game, have a fun and outgoing personality and be willing to get the crowd excited about cheering for one of the best teams in the ABA!

Requirements:
-Must be 18 years of age or older Female.
-Must be healthy and physically fit. Height and Weight must be proportioned.
-Must be able to commit to dance rehearsals.
-Must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
-Must be employed full time or be a full time or part time student.
-Must reside in the Chicagoland area and have a reliable means of transportation.
-Must be able to commit to promotional, charity, and social events representing The Chicago Steam team.
-*Must complete and fill out an application and pay the application fee at the time of tryouts.

*The $50.00 application fee is a one-time fee for the 2009-2010 season needed to tryout. Once selected to be apart of the Chicago Steam Dance Team, the payment for each home game the dancer performs is $50.00-$100.00 With the Chicago Steam being a new professional basketball team, this is a perfect opportunity for you to get exposure! With local media, celebrity guests and celebrity DJ's at attendance at every Chicago Steam home game, the $50.00 application fee pays for itself!

AUDITION DATE AND TIME
The date and time of the tryouts are Saturday August 22 2009, at 9:00 am at South Suburban College, South Holland, IL

-Please arrive on time
-Please arrive fully prepared with proper tryout attire, hair and make up fully done. We want to see you look as if you already made the team!
-Please bring completed application along with application fee. If you are not able to complete the application before hand one will be provided for you at the time of tryouts.
-Please come with ethusiasm, confidence and that "Star" Like Quality.
-Please bring your own music. Only you know what type of music gets you dancing!
