Up for sale is my 2003 mercedes clk500 black/black w 96k miles with many extras kelly blue book list this car at 12,000 dollars for a good condition.
I have over 20 grand invested into the car in extras not mentioning the maintenance and sensors and other parts that usually go bad
with mileage. Now im offering this car at two different prices and the reason for that is because i have an issue with the subframe bolts
that need to be replaced on the rear left side and those 2 bolts cost 25 dollars approximately but the labor is about 900 dollars due to the
face that it would take many hours to take of the brakes and control arms in order to reach that area of the car the two rear left subframe bolts
therefore i can sell the car as is for $10000. or i can have that fixed and im selling for $12500 either way you cant go wrong because i have 20 grand
invested in the car and the parts are as follows:
1. Replaced the rear taillights to the 2005+ model clk with white parted tinted (removeavle) original not cheap ebay knockoffs cost me $1000.
2. Added a rear carbon fiber trunk lip cost me $500
3. Changed all the chrome trim and moulding to black to match the exterior andmake it more stealthy looking cost $750
4. Changed the grill to a 3 slat with black mercedes center symbol cost $400
5. Added Xenon hid lights to the foglights cost $300
6. 19' brabus replica rims with tires in decent condition cost $3000 new
7. Also have 18' original brabus rims not replicas two rims in decent condition and two need to be repaired three rims come with tires new cost me over $6000
8. Changed exhaust system to quad tip straight pipes with center cats removed and resonator remove this mod added me an extra 15hp/20tq approx and believe me when i say you have to hear the sound of the car it sounds like a beast guaranteed you never heard a benz sound like this people in 65amgs ask me what i have under my hood sounds very intimdating louder then a stock srt8 but yet refined not obnoxious like a v4 sounds like a true powerful 5.0 v8 the way it should sound cost me $1500
9. Changed the whole suspension system Bilstein sport shocks, h & r lowering springs, rear h & r sway bar cost me over $2500
10. As a precaution changed the front control arms, outter tie rods, inner tie roads, the rack and pinion bushings. On proper roads this car handles better then any bmw the way it hugs the road with the perfect balance and still has the mercedes luxury. $1100
11. Changed the rotors to clk55 rotors cross drilled rotors are stll new back brake pads are new as well. Changed to stainless steel brake lines to give you extra assurance that brake fade and continuos stopping and emergency situations is a walk in the park with this setup. $1200
12. Car is wired to have a aftermarket stereo system installed. $350
As you can see alot of money was put into this car to make it what it is and alot of maintainance work was done and sensors were changed all spark plus were changed at 90k miles even though you dont have to change them till at least 100k miles, the belt was changed, oil changed on time always, the engines compression was checked after the tune up to make sure all cylinders work properly and there is no misfires, airfilters were changed as well.. as a precaution because the 2003 models were prone to transmission damage due to a faulty radiator that leaks into the transmission so when i bought the car i changed out the radiator and flushed the transmission which cost me well over a $1000 dollars. So alot of work and money was put into the car to make sure it runs properly never abused, the only thing you can expect is regular wear and tear for a car thats basically 13 years old and 96k miles car was driven only about 7k miles a year it was not a daily driver and stored in garage for the most part. you wont find another car this year with the amount of miles with all the extras i listed for the price of a stock car. please call me if your interested if you have any questions or you want to take a look at the car.
