Dear Churches,
No Tears has transformed the lives of many pregnant and parenting teens in our community, strengthening them with a powerful support system of dedicated mentors; motivating them to achieve success and become self-sufficient with effective and informational programs; and empowering them to face the challenge of being young parents with confidence and grace.
No Tears exposes teens to weekly mentoring activities, tutoring services, educational events and programming for young parents-to-be and other networking opportunities and community resources to help them achieve academic, career and personal goals.
This year - a year that symbolizes a renewed sense of hope - I ask you to show your support of No Tears by helping us reach our goal of building a full-service maternity home that pregnant and parenting teens can turn to for support if they fall victim to homelessness.
By participating in the "New Beginning" Campaign, you can help us raise money for this crucial initiative by hosting a baby bottle drive to benefit No Tears. I encourage you and/or your local organization to host a drive and motivate staff, friends, family and members to get involved! We will provide you with everything you need to conduct a successful baby bottle drive including step-by-step- guidelines and baby bottles for distribution. The bottles symbolize our important mission to help pregnant teens in need and will function as "piggy banks" for supporters to fill with donations (spare change, coins, currency and/or checks) towards the construction and operation of a No Tears maternity home. These drives will run from June 21 through July 19 and bottles will be collected at specified drop off points at the end of this four week period.
