SJA-The Branch is a new addition and contribution to the faith-based Community, Social Justice Advocacy has single handedly been providing social services, legal services, food, clothing, shelter and prayer to homeless and near homeless individuals since 2007.
Recently, there has been greater need for Faith Based private organizations in our geographic area, The founder Natasha V. Brereton while employed for a non-profit organization started a pilot program to assist victims of domestic violence get back on their feet, by providing resources and alternatives versus opportunities for the survivors; according to SJA-The Branch Director, “ Little recognition and value were being given to the contributors of Faith-based Organizations in our rural neighborhood “. She opened up her home now a foundation to “strangers” fed and clothed the poor and needy while she too recovered from domestic violence,She continued to provide individuals seeking guidance and assistance; other human support needed to bring awareness to spiritual freedom, financial education, along with “Bootstrapping” opportunities to survivors of domestic violence. Working with local community partners across the country, SJA-The Branch long-term goals are to increase self-awareness while integrating society, a reality for survivors. SJA-The Branch mission is to reduce domestic violence globally. We are caring professionals working to support survivors of domestic violence while making our communities and our nation a better, safer place to live. SJA- The Branch is requesting funding to support the faith based organization
Unfortunately, we are unable to further fund this mission to train and employ victims and is asking for in-kind contributions - donations to continue to provide assistance to victims and their families.
