I have a show 1987 Monte Carlo SS Aero Coupe Dale Earnhardt Sr. Limited Edition. I am willing to let it go for this cheap cause I need a truck. I have been offered $15,000 for it before and $10,000 cash and turned it down, but I now need a truck. So that is why it is so cheap! They only manufactured 2054 of these cars ever. they manufactured the 1986 Aerocoupe only 654 cars ever. This particular one also has bucket seats, not the bench seat. It makes it more rare. It has a V8 with 4 barrels and Corvette suspension and Corvette Handling Package. It runs GREAT and gets between 18 or 22 miles per gallon! It will do 0 to 60 in 2/10 of a mile. She will lay your head back. No Trans Probs! New Tires! Also has original rally rims with the origianl racing flags in the centerpiece of the rims. That alone is worth a good bit of money. It also has the word "Chevrolet" factory on the door handles. I keep the oil changed, and regular maintance. I bought it on my birthday in 2004. It had 71,000 miles on it, it now has 102,000 miles on it now. I dont drive it much because trying to keep it a show car quality. It does however need a new headliner and sunvisors redone, and just a few minor cosmetics. The a/c works, the rear defroster works, the electric side mirrors work, the cruise control works, the speed ometer has recently been serviced (it didnt have to but I felt like to keep it in good condition to have it done). It has just had an oil change, and filters, and o2 senser changed. T-Tops DONT LEAK! I still have the original Leather GM T-Top cases. and the original radio (Delco Cassette with equalizer & Booster). Heater and defrosters for front still work, and ALL gauges are accurate! I have original manufacturers owner's manual and most all receipts for anywork work done to the car. I will take a trade for a truck or truck and motorcycle possibly. I do drive it, so it is tagged and insured and will pass NC inspection. Was recently painted last summer, but I dont like the paint job, so I think it needs another one.
