1974 Chevrolet Corvette

Low book value of $14,885

This 1974 Chevrolet Corvette in Corvette Orange is a great car for anyone. 195 horsepower, 270 lbs. ft. of torque, 8.5:1 compression ratio. Clean title, no rust problems (it's from California), no major leaks, very low miles (62,700), runs great (even in the cold) and doesn't have any serious problems. I drive it regularly, but not long distances; just around town for fun. The car doesn't sit outside; it is garaged. You can use this as a daily driver if you want without any problems. Everything is in 100% original condition with almost all of the car's parts being original as well. I have been slowly working on the car as much as I can, but just don't have much time to wrench any more. I'd rather the car get a little more attention than what I can give it. Passes safety and emissions without any problem.

Not everything works 100%, but here's what I've done so far:
- New belts (all of them)
- New transmission lines (originals were leaking a little)
- New gasket set (heads, valve covers, intake manifold)
- Rebuilt emissions system (new hoses)
- Rebuilt brake system (new rear calipers, rotors, and pads; new master cylinder; new proportioning valve)
- Rebuilt power steering system (all new hoses)
- Engine tune up (new distributor cap and rotor, plugs, wires, air filter, PCV valve)
- New weatherstripping on t-tops and doors
- New original urethane front bumper cover
- New original rear bumper cover
- New windshield washer system
- Rebuilt wheel bearings
- Repaired exhaust system (had some leaks)

Here's what I know doesn't work 100%:
- tachometer (probably needs a new drive gear coupling)
- A/C (all the parts are there, but it doesn't blow cold)
- Heater/AC Fan Blower (only blows on low)
- Other small things (in-dash clock, tripometer, previous owner's radio "upgrade" isn't great, seat adjustment screws)
