I bought this car in 2008 and am only the third owner. New top with padding and leather headliner, new floor pans, new carpet, new engine block, all original. This bug is rare indeed due to the fact that the heater boxes have never been removed and function so well in winter you have to roll down windows!!! It has minor damage on front end (some jerk in shopping center backed into it and never left info) all the common spots that usually have rust on the body (esp in the space between door and front fender well) there's none. I have new dashboard in box. I love this car but the boyfriend who used to build and race Bugs (and kept it purring) is long gone. I am firm on price so don't bother calling with anything less than asking price.
