1969 Cadillac Sedan DeVille The car is running and in overall decent condition. I bought the black cadillac as a restoration project and vacation / road trip car. I've lost interest since there's more work to do and the car isn't ready for long vacations; its a bit rough. I do drive the car around town for errands, took it for a couple 100+ mile round trips out of Detroit. 'take it on the freeway. I drove it in the 2007 Woodward Dream Cruise (it shines nice when waxed). Had no over heating problems. The interior leather/foam is dry rotted but is functional. I usually have blankets stretched over the seats. Supposingly the car spend time sitting in Arizona. Overall the car is solid, but there is some rust. The paint is likely about 20+ years old Newer... alternator, master cylinder, starter, plugs, belts, radiator recore. The Trans shifts ok. Door and windows all work (driver side switch is ragged & driver window slow), 3 of 4 interior doors have lights. Highbean floor switch works. Before me the car was owned by air force guy that used it when he needed to go off base. The Bad; No radio, no gas gauge, no dash lights, switch for heater/fan doesn't work right, no winshield wiper motor ($53 at AutoZone), tricky headlight switch. Has Disk brakes in front, drums in back. Brake job in summer 2006. Replaced one rotor, turned the other, new pads all 4 wheels. A 1969 Cadillac Sedan DeVille White with Black Interior. It's a barn find that has a very nice interior, and decent untouched sheet metal, underside looks good. Due to an accident from the former owner. The right rear door has damage that crushed the door in and broke the grip of the handle. The door & latch still works fine, opens and closes with no issue. Along the quater panal there is only a minor bow in the metal. Typical of 69/70 Cadillacs there is rust on the lower front fender between the door and wheel well The car had been in a pull-barn in michigan from 1995 to 2006. The parts car does not run as some wires are missing in the engine and it hasn't been started in all those years. Glass is original deep (green) tinted. Black Interior is great condition. Front has fold down arm rest and head rests. One seam split on right rear seat base. Carpet is decent to fair, rest is in great shape. I originally bought the car for parts mostly the interior. I've been too busy and it seems like with a new engine and trans it would be a nice old car instead of scraping it. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Any other questions feel free to ask.
