DOJA CLOTHING-Local Santa Cruz Movement Started

Santa Cruz, a new movement has been started! Although our economy is currently caught in the undertow, Doja Clothing is here to calm the waves. Doja is a new clothing company started in October 2009 by an eco-conscious Boulder Creek native named Jaylyn Brendlen. The name Doja stands for “Defining Our Jobs as Americans”. By striving to supply 100% home grown, home sewn clothing, all of Doja’s apparel is made in the US, and many of the pieces are organically grown. By buying and selling American made clothing, they hope that this action will result in creating more American jobs and a better future for our children. The demand for their clothing directly supports thousands of quality US jobs that have been notoriously outsourced by other clothing companies.
Dojas’ style is true to the California culture and a majority of the designs are created by the owner and founder herself. Unlike most companies, at Doja each item of clothing is personally printed in the Santa Cruz based shop, where they proudly offer custom screen printing jobs of the same integrity. This company is active in the California music, skate, surf and motocross scene and you will find their booth at many of those events. They are proud to be making a positive difference and hopefully start an economical trend in all of our lives. Please help them to make it even bigger. On the outside Doja may seem like just another clothing company, but the roots of their motivation is truly socially progressive.
