EXTREMELY RARE: Presentation, museum quality, ornate trumpet style "horn" used by Fire Department Officers for barking out commands given at fires. Engraved enpart to "Captain Foster" dated "Oct 20th 1873". Original maroon & gold lanyard. I was a collector of "Fire Antiques" during my tenour as a professional firefighter (now retired). I obtained this particular piece at an Estate/Private auction while touring the Right Coast of the United States in the early 1990's, and paid a handsome price for it then during some very "heated" bidding.
