I have three model kits that I purchased in 1978 as follows:

One is a 1/25 scale 1955 Corvette model kit that was produced by AMT CORPORATION of Troy, Michigan.

The model is still as NEW and in the UNOPENED (ORIGINAL) BOX which is still wrapped in the original shrink-wrap plastic. It contains all of the components to build the model as a stock Corvette or as a Model of a Drag Car.

The second one is a 1/24 scale 1957 Corvette model kit that was produced by MONOGRAM MODELS INC. of Morton Grove, Illinois in 1977. It is also in the UNOPENED (ORIGINAL) BOX and is wrapped in the original shrink-wrap plastic. According to the box, this one is made in MOLDED IN COLOR.

The third model is a is a 1/25 scale 1962 Corvette Roadster (Hardtop/Convertible) model kit that was produced by AMT CORPORATION of Troy, Michigan in. It contains all of the components to build the model as a completely stock Corvette or as a Custom version of this beautiful car. It is in the ORIGINAL BOX but was unopened since purchased and, unlike many kits of the same vintage, was not wrapped in plastic.

The above kits were produced sometime in the 1970s by the respective manufacturers and I purchased all three of these Corvette model kits at the Harrah's Auto Collection in Reno (Sparks), Nevada in 1978 when Bill Harrah's original collection was housed in the old railroad warehouses on the South side of the Sparks, Nevada rail yard.
