Respond to this AdRefurbished original (not a reproduction) mid-1900's Hard Wood Boat Wheel. It was likely built in the mid-1900's by the Trojan Yacht Company based in Lancaster Pennsylvania.. This wheel measures 19½” in overall diameter with six 3" spokes. The 3"x 1¼" plated brass hub has a ¾"< ⅝" tapered shaft hole (with keyway) with an attached hub cap that appears to be either cast aluminum or plated cast brass. The traditional "Trojan" script name is raised in the center of the cap. Trojan Company was formed in 1949 and continued to build a large variety of boats until 1992.
