Rookwood Pottery compote decorated in an amber to green glaze produced in 1905. Marks include the Rookwood logo, the date, and shape number S 1781 C . Bowl and foot are held together by nut and bolt which are original to the piece. Height 7 inches.

We believe this to be a very "Special" one-of-a-kind piece.  We have never seen the use of metal in the producton of Rookwood Pottery before.
