I have vintage cards from 1958 up to 1979 which are MOSTLY in near mint to mint condition...lotsa star cards and oddballs, and heres an example of what i have in my oldtimer baseball album...1971 Topps baseball "large cards" and they are in NRMT-MT condition( #20- Pete Rose, #32-johnny Bench, #56-Willie mays, #46-W, McCovey, #37-Roberto Clemente, #49-C. YAZstremski, #44-Hank Aaron, #38-Reggie jackson and boog powel, brooks robinson, a. kaline, Gaylord perry, b. campeneris, s. bando, bob gibson, ron santo...and some other commons...last i was able to find a price guide for those cards puts them in the range of 1000 to 1200 dollars. Also have commons from some of those same years in football and basketball. I made this list up for a guy who i was tryin to sell to, but figured i'd try more "local" venues. as i would like to be able to bring my cards in person for you to see them to believe them...and i do not really trust in the "mailing system" and the way most "buyers" want to do their transactions. Would be better if i could bring my cards in "person" rather than trust in the U. S. mail. i have 25 binders full of "stars" and "insert cards" and would consider selling my whole collection...would make an excellent way to start a "shop" as i have Baseball, Basketball, Football, Hockey and golf cards too many to mention...hundreds of tiger woods cards...a binder full of Michael Jordan(1000 cards), and i have over 250 of all of the big stars such as Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, Bret Favre, Joe Montana, Emmitt Smith, Barry sanders, Randy Moss, Jerry Rice and alll of the Stars you could think of in Football as well as over 200 or so of Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, Cal Ripken, Nolan Ryan, Ken Griffey Jr. , Barry Bonds...onto basketball...over 1000 Shaqs, 100 kobe Bryant, 100 of each of allen iverson and kevin garnett, as well as allllof the STARS of basketball over the last 20, including some "od timer" cards...Pete maravich and Julius Irving(dr J)...and some "tall cards" from 1967..John havlicek etc.....make an offer on SOME, OR ALLLL of my collection and i will treat you right at 50 percent of book so you can make a huge profit reselling these awesome cards!!, or put them away for investment potential...thanksand happy collecting to all...
