We bought this sideboard from an antiques dealer in Galena, Il in early to mid 1970's. This piece was from Chicago. It came from an estate. The children kept the table and chairs, but did not have room for the sideboard. I think that the style is Tudor because of the carving and pineapple turnings, but I could be wrong. I believe it was made in the early 1920's.
The sideboard is oak and very heavy. The demensions are 68"x22"x37 5/16". The upper one quarter is divided into three drawers. The center drawer contains a tray approx 10"x15.5"x1.75" divided into two sections. The bottom of the tray is lined with a dark green velvet. The other two drawers are lined with a dark fabric too. The insdie of the center drawer has some scratches.
The lower three quarter of the sideboard has two large drawers in the center and a large compartment with a door on each side of the center drawers. The front is covered with the carving shown in the pictures. Both sides are fully covered with carving. The carved posts on the front two corners are repeated on the two pack two corners.
