I have an old Superboy, DC National Comic, sold for 12 cents in April 1964. It's issue 112. The writing and art are vintage. Features three short stories:
Superbaby’s Super Pranks
The Boy who replaced Clark Kent
The Kids who stole Superboy’s powers
The advertisements:
You can gain 50 pounds of mighty muscle
100 toy soldiers for $1.25
Make Money, get prizes selling American Seeds
On the inside cover is a public service spot about adhering to the Golden Rule, featuring Bob Hope telling unruly kids about the golden rule of good behavior, that all religions follow.
This is a nice piece for a collector, and would make a really fine gift.
(Right now it's inside a plastic cover for protection. See pic below.)
