This is an 1898 Singer Sewing Machine Model 27 Vibrating Shuttle Number 2. It is in excellent condition for its age. The wood needs a little refinishing, though. I have the accessories box with all attachments and the foot and the thing that measures the seam allowance (can't remember what thats called) and two bobbins. Very hard to find all of those included. I also do have two instructions manuals, one original one is an 1899 reprint. The original is very tattered and the cover and some pages are missing and most pages are torn. The reprint is in a little better condition with the cover intact, but some pages are still missing or torn. The serial number is 15760969 The last patent date printed on the machine is Nov 1890. I also have one small envelope of needles by singer with three needles.
The machine appears in good condition, but we have never tried to use it and aren't sure exactly how it works. I do have many pictures including close ups of all accessories and serial number.
