Primary Purpose Process, distribute, and maintain controlled documentation using a document control system. Process documents for revision and approval. Monitor the distribution and reconciliation of process or reference documents. Train staff on document control processes and procedures.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate the activities of Document Control, including distribution and auditing controlled documents, maintenance of electronic department directories. Manage archival activities for controlled documents and validation files. Assist with the implementation, management and administration of the department electronic document management system. Review and proofread documents for consistency of document format and system concerns. Use department databases to track and manage and control issued documents. Assign work instruction and various other document tracking numbers. Effectively follow SOPs and policies. Provide support for the Quality System during corporate audits, actively participate in department activities. Perform audits of company areas and processes to confirm compliance with controlled procedures.
Minimum Qualifications Experience with Quality System Documentation and good documentation practices. Knowledge of ISO concepts and guidelines. Strong communication, prioritization and organizational skills. Technical competence (understand software, hardware, networks, etc). Excellent written and verbal skills. Work on complex assignments in collaboration with various department system owners. Analytical problem solving and organizational ability. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner. Demonstrated ability to work accurately, follow instructions/schedules/timelines and handle multiple priorities. Candidate must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.
