Attached please find our brochure and our 2012 contract. We are searching for homes for Spring semester students currently and schools that will accept these students.
Community Representatives work with local high schools, families, and community leaders, and network in their area to find qualified, safe homes for our students. You are able to use your creative energy, enthusiasm, and people skills. It is all about talking to families and sharing the passion of what you do. You are giving families the opportunity to make a difference, to learn about other cultures and people, and you can show them that they can make a difference in the lives of youth.

We work closely with the Department of State and CSIET-governing board and follow and maintain all of the standards and regulations so that we are providing the highest quality program, and pride our self on being a leader within the High School foreign exchange programs.
A Community Representative's Responsibilities:
Find and screen potential host families
Assist potential host families in completing the necessary paperwork and forms
Secure written permission for attendance from local schools and help enroll the student upon arrival
Provide orientations to all students and host families in your area
Meet with each student and host family at least once per month and complete reports indicating their program progress
Support all host families and students with any difficulties or emergencies they may face during the year and report all incidents to your Manager
HAVE FUN! Plan group activities, picnics, and gatherings for the students and host families in your area!
We ask you to always ask your self this question: “Would I be comfortable placing my own child in this home?”
Running a compliant program, working within CSIET and DOS Guidelines
Work with families and students to work through challenges they may have
Helping your student and family to learn and adjust to cultural differences
Representatives should have the following key qualities:
Flexibility, motivation, dedication, warm heart, organized, integrity, commitment, mediator, teacher, involved in the community, interested in teens, good communication skills, and interested in global peace and understanding.
You will be building and developing relationships with local families and schools, and you may be involved with presentations at clubs and churches. You may also set up booths and search for leads. The best part about this position is that you can go everywhere. You can go out with your family at the soccer field, shopping - you can find host families in many places!
We offer an extensive Training Program. We feel it is important to train our staff so that they are able to provide a safe program to our families and participants.
We offer Academic Year, Semester, and 12-month programs for our students
