- Evaluate competitive benchmarks
- Generate proposals
- Develpp feasible design solutions
- Document estimated savings
- Submit CSP's for approval
Output would be
- Vehicle teardown review, if required
- Commodity teardown review
- Part investigation
- Develop CSP write-up
- CSP Estimation
- Engineering Assessment
- Cost Optimization/Reporting

- Castings & Forgings
- Mechanisms (Window regulators, door handles, steering column, steering gear, etc.)
- Safety
- Powertrain
- Electrical
