JOB DESCRIPTION

Volume Seattle is seeking a graphics design intern (unpaid) with a strong emphasis on web design to join our new team. This individual will be responsible for crafting creative solutions, working with existing design strategies as well as leading new design projects. We are also looking for someone with a passion for marketing design. Experience with marketing collateral or e-commerce is a big plus.

Responsibilities include…
Leading and collaborating in the design of our web properties
Developing high impact online marketing collateral
Working well within the creative team and interface effectively with other member
Balancing priorities and meeting deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to use core Adobe creative suite
Experience with clean, intuitive UI design
Understanding of web technology and an eye for emerging trends
Enjoys collaboration and accepts as well as gives constructive criticism
Open minded
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrates a proactive, can-do attitude
Willing to commit a minimum of 5-10 hours per week to help assist our association graphic design needs
Experience and/or interest in the nightlife and entertainment industry

Bonuses:
Skilled in database management and record/book keeping
Multilingual, fluency in other languages are helpful
Ability to work off hours such as late evenings (10pm-2am) or during special event times
