I'm willing to take just about any FRIENDLY, socialized dog or puppy, although I'm partial to medium to larger dogs. A lab or coonhound would probably be my perfect choice (I want a dog who likes to swim.)

The only dogs I don't want are a Rottweiler, Dalmation, Chow, or Pit Bull. No offense intended, but I have a 5 year old neighbor who comes over here a lot & I don't want the risk, especially, since she was attacked by a "friendly" dog her family was watching about 1 1/2 years ago.

I lost my lab in May '09 & really want another dog really bad.
