Hi, My name is Ashley ...my little brother who is a boxer/hound mix (approx 70 lbs) named Taz, was rescued by my mom when he was under 6 weeks old. Taz is now 2 1/2.Taz is nuetered, up to date on all vaccinations and on heartworm preventative. He is crate trained, easy to walk on a leash and extremely loveable. For the past few months him and my mom's 9 year old boxer have been having issues ...Taz is NOT dog aggressive, but when they both get into the corner of the fence and start barking at cars going by etc they get into fights for some odd reason or when they first get out in the back yard (I'm assuming dominance issues). I work at a Boarding and Training facility called Canine Workshop www.canineworkshop.net Pam and Ken White have trained my mom's other 2 dogs. Pam has agreed to help me out and give 6 obedience lessons to build Taz's confidence and so that he will be comfortable with you and you with him. At this point I think Taz needs to be an only dog for not only his safety but the safety of other animals as well. I have pictures of Taz with my Pom and my sisters Chi he is NOT a bad dog. He is a woman's dog. I think a female would suit him best. He is alert knows when something is outside and would be a good guard dog for a single female. He loves to play with his toys and also loves children.He is a cuddler. I really feel Taz would be good for an apartment. Please, if you are looking for a dog and you think Taz is the one for you let me know. My mom has posted an ad at her vet but she has not been actively looking for him a home and has now decided he must go. I am going to keep him at my apartment until I find him a home, I personally would keep him but I have a German Shepherd and a pom in an 800 sq ft. apartment I don't have room for another big animal. Please someone help Taz.
**Taz will come with his crate, blanket, food, food bowl, collar, leash, toys and 6 obedience lessons at Canine Workshop.
