I have a 7 year old Saint Bernard that needs a loving home ASAP. We adopted him from a couple that could no longer keep him thinking that he would be a great playmate for our other dog. As it turns out, our other dog is just too hyper and rough with him and as a result, he is scared of her and not comfortable in our house. He is very loving and gets along well with our cats (although he chases them, they don't realize he just wants to be friends). He has never shown any aggression toward our dog or any other dog that he has come into contact with when we take him for walks. I just feel terrible for him because when we are home and our dog is running the house, he hides in his crate. I would prefer that he go to a home that has dogs that are either signifcantly smaller than him or at least not as hyper as our current dog. Lucky is very laid back and would prefer to have you love on him while watching TV than to play fetch in the back yard. He does occassionally like to play tug of war or play in the water if you spray him with a hose but because of his size and age, he tires easily. He is completely housebroken would love to have a new peaceful home. There is a negotible $150 re-homing fee.
