Duties and responsibilities include working with student-athletes to provide life skills support in the areas of personal, professional, and career development services. The incumbent will develop and coordinate all community service outreach activities; enhance the programming offered by the Office of Student-Athlete Support Services; create networks and build collaborations with local employers with whom our student-athletes may intern; seek summer and permanent job opportunities for student-athletes; help organize student-athlete career and personal development workshops; establish relationships with and utilize careerathletes.com. The Student-Athlete Development Coordinator will coordinate the All-Sports Banquet, Student Athlete Kick-Off, and will maintain the student-athlete handbook. Work assignments for the Student-Athlete Development Coordinator will require some weekend and evening hours.
