Center channel speaker has a positioned 1-inch (25mm) CR Kortec tweeter the same one used in the CR8 and CR9 between the dual active/passive 4 1/2-inch (115mm) mid/bass drivers. This design not only produces a point-source configuration for excellent localization of on-screen effects and intelligible dialog, but also creates notably broad horizontal dispersion. The CR2 uses five-way binding posts for secure connections and has a standard-sized insert in the back for bracket mounting.
