Nova Services, a non-profit employment agency committed to making a difference in the workplace, is seeking on-call Assembly Workers to join our team! Assembly Workers assist with meeting the production needs of Nova Services. They will work along side individuals who are disabled, performing a variety of assembly and other production tasks. They will be asked to assist with the daily routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks associated with keeping Nova Services facility in top physical condition. Workers will be assigned to a production area which is open, well-lit, temperature controlled, and has linoleum tile flooring over a concrete sub-floor. Occasionally, work will be performed in a warehouse environment on a concrete floor and subject to warehouse conditions. Production tasks will vary in nature and may require standing on one’s feet during an entire shift. While lifting activities are usually confined to light activity, on occasion it may be required to handle loads up to 50 or more pounds.
