Home made wood splitter, made from an 8" I-Beam, on wheels with 2" ball for towing down the road, 14" tires, Hydraulic cylinder has an approximate 30" stroke and is mounted horizontally on the I-Beam. System powered with a 8 hp Briggs & Stratton motor directly coupled to a Racine pump with a Love Joy coupling. Hydraulic reservoir holds approximately 5 gallons of oil.
