Description: Highly stable and growing Credit Union, Pacific Oaks FCU, is searching for a Mortgage Loan Underwriter. Major duties include: · Reviews and evaluates mortgage loan applications and credit files, underwrites and submits decision per Credit Union Portfolio, Agency and Investor Standards for conventional conforming and jumbo products as well as FHA, VA and HFA. · Reviews and underwrites appraisal and title issues to assure adequate collateral protection for the Credit Union. · Confirms salability of loans in the secondary market and mitigates potential for repurchase through prudent underwriting standards and Credit Union, Agency, Investor and Quality Control guidelines. · Obtains purchase commitments from...read more
