Description: Underwriters (1) review mortgage loan applications for compliance with FHA, Fannie Mae, and institutional lender guidelines, (2) counsel loan originators, brokers and credit union personnel on loan criteria and structuring loans, and (3) guide processor and closers on properly documenting files; (4) work with DU, LP, GUS, and underwriting matrices; (5) monitor pipelines to make sure loans flow to targeted closing dates. We offer the follow products: FHA, VA, Fannie, Freddie, USDA, State Bond Program, Renovation (FHA 203k, Fannie HomePath and Remodeler, Private). We focus on purchase transactions.
