INFLATION! That's the word that's sending mortgage rates up. Lending practices have also made it more difficult to even get APPROVAL! If you have a variable or a fixed for only 3,5,or 7 years you should consider getting into a longer fixed rate loan. Perhaps a 30 year fixed rate. Lock it in NOW! Don't delay which may cost your hundreds of dollars per month extra just for waiting.
