have two uromastyxs for sale, one Red Nigerian and the other a lime green Moroccan.
I bought them both as babies and the Morroccan is around 7 years old while the Nigerian is probably 5 or 6 years old. They are fed an organic lettuce mix (12 different plants) that we buy from Bel Air and Costco. And other than the daily handful of lettuce the Uromastyx require almost no other care.
Both animals are handleable and show off their beautiful adult colors, especially when excited. The Nigerian is $50 and the Morroccan $250.
*The Moroccan Uromastyx has a rough patch of skin around his mouth that I have been told is a calcium deposit. I replaced his UV light with a more powerful "desert" one, and it seems to have fixed the problem. I can email close up pictures on request.
