Character Breakdown
*10-12 teens (most likely 6 males, 4 females)
*Age Range 12-19 to play multiple speaking parts.
*1-2 "sound effects" people who will be part of the show, but will not have actually speaking roles – creativity is a must. All parts will not be totally memorized, but actors must read fluently and be willing to work on voice and diction as directed for the various parts they play in the show.
Show Synopsis
This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.
Crew Needed
Looking for set/prop/costume people to assist with 1940’s period wardrobe and set pieces.

Matlin Studio Youth Theater is a small, Arizoni award winning black box theater committed to "touching one life at a time through the arts". We are dedicated to providing a training ground and nurturing environment for youth actors to work on their craft and have fun.
Performances will be at Matlin Studio on December 11, 12, 13 and 17, 18 and 20.
We will hold a second round of auditions from 2-4 on Sunday, November 1, using cold readings from the script.
