Custom size & color, decorative (but can be made to be functional if need be) board & batten shutters available. I am a one-man operation & do this during the week only (I'm actually a professional jazz musician).
I never take on more work than I know that I can finish as promised to the client (& on the day promised)...

I provide the shutters for a large number of the homes in Chateau Elan, Hamilton Mill & many of the surrounding subdivisions.

For the most part, I build one style of shutter - birch (unless another wood is requested), closed-board, beviled-edge, 1" X 6" board & batten. My work is guaranteed for one year from the hanging date. Priming, painting (just let me know the color), shutter hardware & labor (including installation) are all included in the price.

My prices are competitive -- under 50" long is $180 per pair; 50" - 90" are $190 per pair & above 90" are $200 / pair. Arches (no matter the shutter length) are an extra $10 per pair.

The price breakdown is as follows:

-- $140 - $160 per pair of finished shutters alone (assembled, painted, etc...)

-- $28 per pair of shutter hinges

-- $12 per pair of "shutter dogs" ("S" hooks)

Sorry, but I don't do louvered shutters, nor do I have a source for vinyl shutters. Real wood looks better anyway (in my opinion)...
