Cost of Signing Up with Avon

In order to start selling Avon you must sign up and get your kit. This is neither time consuming, nor costly! It's only $10 to get signed up and get your kit! There is $500 in Fast Start bonuses too! Just ask me how! There will be district meetings and training sessions in your area and we will find out when and where those are and who your District Manager is. Your Avon Selling Kit

Your kit will contain training materials and brochures for two campaigns.

I have spoken to many women about selling Avon. Most say they've always wanted to do it, but figured everyone was selling Avon and the competition would make it hard to create a successful business. WRONG!

Do you know that I have sold Avon in three different cities and their have always been other Reps -- but certainly enough business to go around. And the last time I moved, I ended up in a town with no other Reps! Yes, it's a small town -- but your business is what you make it. (Are you sure there is a Rep in your town? Maybe you'll be the only one!)

You can also get an Avon website for selling online too! The cost is $7.50 per campaign. But the websites are professional quality and track everything for you! Family and friends from all over the United States can order right from YOUR website and have it shipped directly to them!

Your Avon Goals and Pay Scale

Be sure to set goals for your new business and strive to meet them. Maybe it's a certain income level? Maybe it's team building and you want to sign up one new person a month. You can even decide that you will give away so many catalogs every two weeks or find a new customer each week. Just take the time to grow your business, and you will be pleased with the results.

As for the pay scale/discount/commission structure: 50% on 1st order. 50% on 2nd, 3rd & 4th orders if order is $50 or more. Further orders are on a sliding scale per order.

Regarding the 50% off on your first 4 orders:

In order to earn the 50% you must meet TWO requirements.

1. Your order MUST BE placed ONLINE.

2. Your order MUST BE at least $50 or more.Now, if you meet those requirements you will receive 50% off of ALL beauty care products in the brochures. The items that DO NOT count towards your 50% discount are your sales tools (brochures, samples, bags, etc), your DEMO items from the What's New Book (they are already discounted for you, although you may earn an additional discount based on your sales), and ANY item in the brochures that are FIXED EARNINGS item and have a little black diamond next to the product name. Those you only get 20% discount. All other items (which should make up the majority of your order) are 50%.

And remember, in the first 3 campaigns you can take advantage of some really good bundles (already discounted so you don't get another 50% off of those) at really great prices. Among those bundles are samples bundles which allow you to get a ton of samples for a really low price. Take advantage of those bundles. You can use them as demos or you can split them up and sell them at the FULL brochure price and make a great profit to start your business.

Avon Training

Once you've signed up for Avon and registered online....there is a wealth of info at your access. There are many training videos. If you take all 7 of the Beauty Advisor training courses you earn the designation Beauty Advisor! All 7 courses are free!

If you are a beauty advisor when someone calls AVON looking for a rep, leaders and beauty advisors numbers are given out first. A great way to build your customer base, and increase your sales is to take the courses and hold a beauty bash at your home offering free makeovers and you can use the Beauty Profile system to help you out. You can Preview the system free for 30 days. Give yourself a test spin on it and invite all of your customers, family and friends to try it out too.

There is also a community bulletin board. This is a place to ask questions, get info.....share....it's wonderful. YOu can find so much info on the boards.

PRESIDENTS CLUB ( What is it and why do you want it?)

Presidents club is an achievement that you earn in AVON by selling over $10,100 worth of products in a single year. The earnings accumulate from Campaign 8 or one year, all the way through the end of Campaign 7 the following year. Once you make Presidents club there are some great benefits that you get for the whole next year. First, you get to attend a luncheon and get awarded with prizes for making that awesome achievement. Second, you receive a Mrs. Albee statue to commemorate your achievement and our very first Avon rep ever. She changes every year and is a collectable item. Third, you get a GUARANTEED 40% minimum discount (except on fixed earnings items) on all your orders. That can be a great savings for you and a great profit as well. Fourth, you get access to a TOLL FREE customer service
number just for Presidents club members only. Fifth, you get gifts on holidays, birthdays and your Avon anniversary. And there is much, much more. Something worth working towards and something anyone can do.

The Negatives

Don't get caught up in the poo-poos that say Avon is expensive, or there are too many Avon reps already or that you won't find customers.....blah blah blah. But if you go into it with the attitude that this is MY business and no one is going to limit my achievements or bring me down - then you're off to the right start.

I moved to a state with NO friends and NO family....and I still built a fabulous customer base. Out of nothing. So save the "I can't do this.....it's too hard..." excuse for someone else. (I also work full time and have two kids!)

It comes down to wanting to have your own business or not. Can you pass out brochures? Can you take customer orders? Can you input the orders online? Deliver and collect payments? It's THAT easy. Not rocket science. Avon offers fabulous products...be PROUD of that....share it!
