The Bureau of Land Management has approximately 30,000 horses that need to be adopted. They are awesome animals and they are easier to gentle and train than domestic horses, because they learn in a couple of months on the range, discipline, leadership, and the pecking order. After you gain their trust they look to you as their leader and will do anything for you.

We just adopted a 5 month old mustang filly 9-25-09 and she was gentle enough on the second day that other people could go into her pen and pet her.
